Setting the standards for excellence in forensic counseling

ABFCAbout ABFC

Forensic counselors specialize in the area of criminal justice counseling and evaluation in both correctional and community- based settings. This forensic discipline provides safe and effective treatment to both civil and criminal offenders. Forensic counselors provide ethical evaluations and therapeutic services related to parole, probation, victim-assistance, law enforcement, and expert evaluation. By improving the lines of communication between the clinician and the justice system, forensic counselors are able to help protect the public from potentially harmful individuals.
